The one where it's Mother's Day

Another SOLID week.

On Wednesday, we had dinner with the Shepherds and the Alders, Sister Alder had work to do so we weren't in that picture but we had a yummy pizza dinner lol we talked about how the Shepherds are converts to the church and how that changed there lives in ways they can't even describe.

He shared some cool story's from his childhood and its tough. I need to remember my childhood stories better bc I don't remember most of them off the top of my head I would have to think haha but super cool and unique/older home but probably the biggest house I've been in!! Brother Shepherd built that temple made of Legos from SCRATCH like WHAT?! He said it took him bout 4 months to find all the prices to build it (like finding prices off eBay or other websites) but he said it was bout 3 and a half feet high and once he was done with it he took it around and put it in the lodge of his ski resort Hoodoo ski resort, and put it right in the middle of the lodge! Such an awesome place to put it! He really tries to make it noticeable that he's a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On Thursday we had exchanges with our DL So I went with Elder Wellock, I went over to their area Springfield 4th Ward and we had dinner with the Christensen's and had some fire pasta and then we shared a message about how they should reach out to someone this week that you feel needs God's love shown to them!
So that was sweet and then we called some of their investigators and set up future appointments for them, then we went to the mission office because we had a call with the STLS just on how their area is going, and after we did some finding on FB with the AP's solid evening!
And in the morning we had district council and then we exchanged back to my comp Elder Chevalier! Good Time with Elder Wellock definitely some good laughs I needed lol

MOTHERS DAY SUNDAY
So we had a solid Mother's Day despite being away from my Mom, but we had an awesome church meeting and then we had a lesson with Russ about the commandments, and that went awesome!
After we did some FB work and then we had dinner with the Lamunyons and we had a great visit with them after dinner we hurried to the church and I was able to call the fam/mom for Mother's Day!! Love you Mom!!
Then we rushed back and had root beer floats and talked till like 9 lol. Today was 95 degrees up here and it definitely felt like it!! Luckily the rest of the week is sitting around 85 and sunny WOOOO.

I found this scarf at the Church because 85 degrees is chillyyy. lol. Ft the sunburned arms.

On exchanges with Elder Wellock visiting with the Christensen family
