The one where I'm a week behind on the emails lol

 Jan 2nd - Jan 9th


At the beginning of the week, we did exchanges with the ZLs, it was a really good day and a half with the coolest ZLs if the whole OEM. I went with Elder Sparks he's actually from Lehi Utah too and he went to Skyridge my high school! 
I learned a lot from him and that day we had a bunch of cancelations but we did a lot of Facebook finding in public at McDonald's and we talked to people as they sat by us.  I'm getting better at striking up a conversation with a random stranger lol. Elder Sparks taught me a lot as he's been out for like 19 months now! Gonna miss that guy! Later that night we went to Black B Bear Diner in Klamath with a bunch of the Elders from the zone! Gonna be hard if I leave his place!

Leaning towards the end of the week we met with Georgine. We have been doing a lot of service for her dog rescue. Been chopping, moving, and burning a ton of wood. We have been meeting with her a lot bc she's getting baptized on the 21st of January and get the opportunity to baptize her. I'm super excited about that!!

The one with all kinds of surprises

This week went by so fast because it was filled with surprises and other highlights below. Tuesday Nov 8th Today was filled with service and moving apartments. We did service at a thrift store called Treasures. We sorted a bunch of wires and put them in a massive bin so untangling them took forever lol once we got done they said we could go shopping around and I found a sick sock tie and a sick old handheld FM radio.  After we got done with the service we found out we were moving to a different apartment! So that was exciting and a big surprise but also a small hassle because I finally got all my clothes and desk all organized, but now had to pack it all up. Our new place is an upgrade from our old apartment so that was a massive plus! It puts us 15 minutes closer to our Keno area, but just that much further from the Yonna Valley area. The one where is doesn't rain...because it snows!

Hi everyone this is Elder Fillmore emailing from OREGON! So crazy I'm here! Wednesday, November 2nd!  At 6:30AM we checked out of the MTC and headed to Provo Station to catch our train to the airport. Once there, my comp and just chilled while we waited for our flight to OR. We landed in Eugene, Oregon early afternoon and as expected it was pouring down rain and I was like oh boy haha here it all starts. We made our way to grab our luggage and walked out of the airport and boom the sun was out so that was a tender mercy!  We were met by the APs Elder Yeager and Elder Hepworth, super cool guys. We got loaded up and on our way. We traveled to the mission offices in Eugene and when we arrived, we were greeted by President and Sister Weekes. It was so awesome to meet them F2F for the first time and they are super cool people. The one where I'm in Eugene!

Hi ik I took a fat break with emails, but since the last one, I got transferred up to EUGENE with Elder Chevalier! Such a good teacher and has a way better sense of humor than my last comp lol so I'm so thankful for that!! We are a little north of Eugene, in Santa Clara kinda a suburb of Eugene and I am on a BIKE. One of two biking areas in the mish.  The teaching pool is seriously slacking up here so we are trying to change that as much as we can so far we are teaching 3 people but since I've been here we have only been able to meet with one of them once a week. So we are trying to start teaching those others too!  Yesterday, we had a member dinner and the house was maybe 20 minutes away on a bike. So we get going it was a light sprinkle when we start and the closer we got the harder and harder it rained lol.
