The one where I hope 2023 goes by speedy

New Years Eve we didn't do a lot this week because my comp is super sick.  We first went to Georgines to clean up her yard and get all the dogs back in the gate. Then we talked about moving her date up to the 21st!! And she's willing to do that!! So hopefully she will follow though!! Hopefully first baptism! Then we had lunch/dinner with some really cool members of the Yonna Valley branch! It's been a super cold week too. 

Then we came back we went to the store for some stuff for Elder Kjar had to get and then we were just chillin' at home. Then Elder Huffman and his comp (super cool guys dope hanging with them) were like hey we got 4 6 oz stakes and bread and apple pie and they were like hey we wanna come to eat this with you guys and cook it at our place so we made some good steaks and had some garlic bread super fire! Then my comp was like I'm out of here and went to and I just hung out with the elders till like 9 and then they went back bc of curfew. I worked out a little and went to bed at 10 pm lol.

  Hey hey everyone hope everyone had a good week and a good general conference weekend!!!!! -Monday  We went on this hike as a district + the APs and it was a good hike and i knew it was gonna be good because i actually did it about 10 months ago when I was in the Santa Clara Zone. So it was cool to do the hike not in the blistering July heat! Out of the 2 districts in the Eugene zone we are definitely part of the better district so im thankful for that and im thankful for that because every other p day we are only supposed to be with our district for the whole day to try to build district unity i guess but yeah after the short hike we went back to the church and the sisters made some crepes and we a got like stuff you put on Crepes and it was a super good lunch and then after we went to the university of Oregon practice turff fields and played some soccer, it was super nice up here super sunny and about 75° gosh dang i cant wait for summer! The one with humidity + super cold = bone chilling

With the weather being 85% humidity and a high of 35 and a low of 15, this is next level cold that I have never experienced before.  Tuesday Nov 15 I had my first Zone Conference! After the 3½ hour drive to the stake center in Medford, OR it was super good to meet everyone from the south part of the mission! Super cool to bond with everyone! President and Sister Weekes taught about temple covenants and the wonderful blessings that we receive when we attend! Super good talks! After the zone conference, we went to IN&OUT!! I miss that food so much. We also went to Chick-fil-A to get a shake so that was yummy!! Definitely miss the fast food places lol. In Klamath we don't get none of that rip haha Wednesday Nov 16th  We did wood service the whole day for a lot of people! Super fun cutting wood with a hydraulic wood chopper lol. The one with all kinds of surprises

This week went by so fast because it was filled with surprises and other highlights below. Tuesday Nov 8th Today was filled with service and moving apartments. We did service at a thrift store called Treasures. We sorted a bunch of wires and put them in a massive bin so untangling them took forever lol once we got done they said we could go shopping around and I found a sick sock tie and a sick old handheld FM radio.  After we got done with the service we found out we were moving to a different apartment! So that was exciting and a big surprise but also a small hassle because I finally got all my clothes and desk all organized, but now had to pack it all up. Our new place is an upgrade from our old apartment so that was a massive plus! It puts us 15 minutes closer to our Keno area, but just that much further from the Yonna Valley area.
