The one where we plan Darren's baptism

Hey hey everybody hope you guys have had a good week!! 

Not a whole lot happened this week!! But we do have some good news and some funny stories haha 

Ima just go day by day again just because is easier 

Tuesday 
We had a solid member lunch at a cool Mexican restaurant here and it was actually so good!! We had a couple other member visits and during that time we were not in members homes we were moving all of the furniture from our old place into our new apartment we moved into haha and all we have to move big furniture is a rav 4 so we have taken multiple trips back and forth  i got some funny vids if you wanna see then email me back and ill send the videos hahah

Wednesday 
We had zone conference and we were driving up to Roseburg everyone in the car was asleep by the time we got there and I was the one driving.. so just driving 4 sleepy dudes that was my job haha but it was a great meeting and we talked a lot about what the members can do to help further the work here on earth, and teaching to understand when it comes to investigators!! So after we drove back and we got red robin in Grants Pass and it was soooo freaking good because it was 8 we hadn't eaten since 11 haha the 2nd pair of assistants came to sleep at our new place and this new place is with the zone leaders and there hype Elder Petersen and Elder Atwood, and then the assistants wanted to sleep over so there was 6 of us in this house we are staying in and it was a fun night hahah then we planned to wake up at 5:30 to go play some bball so that was sick!

Thursday 
We wake up and play ball at 5:30 and holy cow that hour makes all the difference ill be fr but had a good solid day, we layed some bricks for this lady in our ward and it was finally good to get some service in for the week and we did honestly a solid job and we were just glad to finally help because the weather has been so bad we kept having to reschedule and reschedule but we finally got it done and made her happy! After that we had a service project with a Jewish family, we helped them set up this shelf in their garage and it went well and it was good for them to see us just as normal people! 


Friday 
We had district council and all those fun missionary meetings. After that we had a lesson with one of our friends we are trying to help get over the fear of coming to church but we had a solid lesson with her and we had a recent convert couple around her age come with us!! The Wades were the couple that came with us and we were so happy they came and they boned super well so that was fire! After that we had awesome dinner with the Hays family!! During our lesson we gave them we were just talking about hard times and how Brother Hays had a daughter pass away and I was like wow what are the odds and elder Pugmire both lost a sibling and we are with someone that lost a daughter so we start talking about it and I know he had felt my parents pain. So there was a super strong spirit in the room that I will always remember, I know for a fact Maddie was in the room, especially during that conversation!!  


Saturday 
We had we had the lesson with the Jewish fam and again and dropped some doc on their head (basically we proved everything respectfully what they were saying and believing in is false.....) using the Book of Mormon and the bible haha but it was a good time and they are just so nice but they definitely have some backhanded beliefs haha but we gonna try out best to clear those up haha. 
We also had couple of wood projects for the Southwicks and the Wades there both members just a lil advanced in age so they can move wood like they used too haha but We were able to help them chop up come wood and bring it up to there house so we had some 2 projects go until about 5 pm then had to hurry and get cleaned up and go to our dinner at a member parents home and theg feed us some yummy food! After that, we planned out Darren's baptism! So that super fun and we are getting hyped for that! It's gonna be March 2nd!! Woot woot!!!! We had apartment inspections the next day so cleaned the apartment for the rest of the night haha

Sunday 
We had a great sacrament meeting and an awesome member who was speaking invited some non-member friends who were previously being taught by the missionaries. So we hope her talk impacted them enough to hopefully come back! After we had a couple of visits we had to do and then stopped by mission prep just for the last 20 minutes hahaha after that we had some more visits and then we had dinner with the Robinsons!

This week went by so fast because it was filled with surprises and other highlights below. Tuesday Nov 8th Today was filled with service and moving apartments. We did service at a thrift store called Treasures. We sorted a bunch of wires and put them in a massive bin so untangling them took forever lol once we got done they said we could go shopping around and I found a sick sock tie and a sick old handheld FM radio.  After we got done with the service we found out we were moving to a different apartment! So that was exciting and a big surprise but also a small hassle because I finally got all my clothes and desk all organized, but now had to pack it all up. Our new place is an upgrade from our old apartment so that was a massive plus! It puts us 15 minutes closer to our Keno area, but just that much further from the Yonna Valley area. The one where is doesn't rain...because it snows!

Hi everyone this is Elder Fillmore emailing from OREGON! So crazy I'm here! Wednesday, November 2nd!  At 6:30AM we checked out of the MTC and headed to Provo Station to catch our train to the airport. Once there, my comp and just chilled while we waited for our flight to OR. We landed in Eugene, Oregon early afternoon and as expected it was pouring down rain and I was like oh boy haha here it all starts. We made our way to grab our luggage and walked out of the airport and boom the sun was out so that was a tender mercy!  We were met by the APs Elder Yeager and Elder Hepworth, super cool guys. We got loaded up and on our way. We traveled to the mission offices in Eugene and when we arrived, we were greeted by President and Sister Weekes. It was so awesome to meet them F2F for the first time and they are super cool people. The one where I'm in Eugene!

Hi ik I took a fat break with emails, but since the last one, I got transferred up to EUGENE with Elder Chevalier! Such a good teacher and has a way better sense of humor than my last comp lol so I'm so thankful for that!! We are a little north of Eugene, in Santa Clara kinda a suburb of Eugene and I am on a BIKE. One of two biking areas in the mish.  The teaching pool is seriously slacking up here so we are trying to change that as much as we can so far we are teaching 3 people but since I've been here we have only been able to meet with one of them once a week. So we are trying to start teaching those others too!  Yesterday, we had a member dinner and the house was maybe 20 minutes away on a bike. So we get going it was a light sprinkle when we start and the closer we got the harder and harder it rained lol.
