The one where I have 1 year left

Holy these past 2 weeks have gone by super fast and we have been slammed. Through our contacting efforts, we have been blessed to meet some solid people and have had amazing visits and lessons. Very little time to sit down to eattt, but this is what we do. I will hit some highlights from my journal, btw Mom I have only 20 pages left, please send my other journal asap :)

Tuesday, Oct 10th MY ONE YEAR

Woot woot I made it halfway!! Honestly so crazy I've been a missionary for that amount of time and it has gone by so fast and I have met so many awesome people! As the day went on I was just remembering all the fun memories I've been able to have on the mission! It's crazy I only have a year left to teach to the best of my ability and make some more memories.
An awesome recent convert family took us out to eat at a super nice restaurant for dinner, and the rest of the night we went to go knock on some members doors! Not the most exciting day, but it was just another day of missionary work here in Medford! Love it!

Zone Conference Oct 13th

This Zone Conference was in the first week of this transfer because we had Elder Adeyinka A. Ojediran of the Seventy come to speak to us! It's was super cool to hear from him for a few hours! He talked about about having dignity in missionary work and making sure we know the importance of whos name is on our tag! Definitely something to keep in mind as we go through our lives just remembering that we are disciples of Jesus Christ we need to watch how we act and watch what we say on a day-to-day basis. Just gotta remember we are not perfect but the God and Jesus Christ love effort! Woot woot

Saturday, Oct 14th

We served at the Rogue Marathon in Medford! We helped from about 6:30 am till bout 2:00pm handing out water and food to runners as they ran by lol it was fun. It reminded me of the feed zone during mountain biking, just a lot less stressful because there just at a running pace.
So that was cool to be a part of! Many runners would say "What up Elders! " so that was cool to get a little recognized! There was also the solar eclipse going on during the marathon so that was sick and it got actually pretty dark! Felt like the sun was going down but it was really 9:30am so it definitely messed with your head.

Sunday, Oct 15th

Super cool spiritual moment that we were able to have with a member family at dinner yesterday. We were walking to the dinner and I just had no clue what to share with them so we  went ahead and decided to share something from General Conference which is always good to share about, but the family has 2 young kids so that would have made them super bored.
So we ate some awesome food they made and we sit down for a message and still drew a blank, I got nothin, my comp has nothin, and no idea what to share.... so my mind goes right videos because the kids love videos. I chose the video "What Does Gods Love Mean"
Super awesome video and it opened up into a super awesome discussion about looking for Gods love in our day-to-day lives which I know can be hard to do but as you do you totally begin to grow closer to him! The oldest daughter who is almost in YW said, "Mom I can use that scripture from the video in my talk for the primary program." That confirmed to me that they needed to hear that message and how the daughter recognized how the scriptures could help her prepare for her talk.

So my challenge is just to see God's love in some way this week! Feel free to join the challenge!!

Love ya guys and hope you have a solid week.
