Elder Zach Fillmore

Another week flew by and it was the last full week of my 13th transfer!! My 14th one will be starting this week on Wednesday! It was a super exciting week for me and Elder Lowery as Jamie Cooper was baptized!! Woooo We will do a lil day by day first  Monday  After the District Council we had Jaime's baptism interview and it went well! So we were still on track for Saturday wooo haha  Tuesday  We went over to Brother Furtado and helped him with transporting some heavy stuff info the back of his truck and we also washed our car we got because we got the momma rocket (Toyota Sienna van) so after washing it and make it look cleannnn we we over to a members house and talked to her because she doesn't get out much because she has to stay in her apartment due to health reasons, her name is Sue Murph! Hey hey everybody hope you guys all had a super good week lets jump right into ittttt Monday We went bowling as a district and by the end of it the entire bowling alley was filled with little Middle School aged kids and they were waiting for us to finish our game and they were all cheering us on so it was a super fun time hahaha Tuesday  We had a super good lesson with one of our newest friends Tamara she's a meteor referral and she's just down to learn more about the gospel and it's just wanting to widen her view and knowledge when it comes to knowing about the Mormon church so had an awesome lesson with her! Then we did some calls and visited some members in person, and then we had a lesson with a member that's returning when it comes to going to church every single Sunday, and we just got to know him more and found out he was a convert of only a couple years ago so it was actually super cool to hear from him, his name is Brother Strawbridge. Hey hey!! Hope everyone is having a good week! This week flew by so quick it wasn't even funny  Monday  We balled up at the church for basically the whole day but around 3 pm we went over to the practice fields at the university and played a lil Frisby. After P day was over we had District Council which was kind of a drag because we were all super tired from being in the sun or playing sports all day, so that was an interesting meeting but it was fun being with his zone the whole day! After the District Council then we started the district leader Exchange!! Tuesday  We had our district leader exchange, so Elder Lowery (my comp) went with our district leader Elder Miller out to his area in Veneta.   Hey hey everyone hope everyone had a good week and a good general conference weekend!!!!! -Monday  We went on this hike as a district + the APs and it was a good hike and i knew it was gonna be good because i actually did it about 10 months ago when I was in the Santa Clara Zone. So it was cool to do the hike not in the blistering July heat! Out of the 2 districts in the Eugene zone we are definitely part of the better district so im thankful for that and im thankful for that because every other p day we are only supposed to be with our district for the whole day to try to build district unity i guess but yeah after the short hike we went back to the church and the sisters made some crepes and we a got like stuff you put on Crepes and it was a super good lunch and then after we went to the university of Oregon practice turff fields and played some soccer, it was super nice up here super sunny and about 75° gosh dang i cant wait for summer! HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!! Hope you all had a good weekend, definitely seen so many cool blessings come from the impact easter has had in missionary work once again! At the end of the day we were able to have a little lesson/get to know you with jack and kirk there roommates because jack is looking for some work, but both converts to the gospel and there absolute homies. Hey hey everyone!! Hope everyone is having fun with there spring break!  My week has been full of emotions and staying sups busy and what not but I'll do a lil day by day action  Tuesday  I literally can't remember what we did but it was a super busy day and then at 9pm I found out I was leaving the best ward ever and going up to flipping Eugene ughhhh but yeah it was so sad to see that I wanted to stay another but ik i need to be up here in Eugene for a reason so looking forward to it!  Elder Pugmire is gonna be staying (my lil trainee/ my son) I know for a fact he will take care of the ward and help it continue to grow he got an Elder who came out on the mission with me Elder Scott and he's a big time homie so I'm glad my son got a good missionary!!    Wednesday  It was a hussle trying to pack and saying bye to everyone but we were able to go say bye to some of my most favorite people here in Grant Pass like the Southwicks and Sister Pearson and Darren and the Jacobs
