The one where we get 2 dates

Hey hey everyone!!! 

This week was one the most successful week of my whole mission!! 

This email won't be long but it was a hype week!! The beginning of the week was slow until bout Thursday afterrnoon we weee able to meet with Crystal, Crystal is a referral and a goated one too! It was a little bit of trouble trying to get in contact with her but Thursday afterednoon we went over to her house bc we had a lil free time and we ending up sharing a message on the doorstep! 
We were a tiro at this time because Elder Landon Peterson (aka AAP) he came down for 2 days and we ran it up!! So after that door message, she expressed how much she loves the missionaries and loved reading the Book of Mormon, and in my head like we definitely gotta put her on date for baptism. 
So after that freaking cold (freezing) door message we got in the car and drove back to the church and we were like we gotta call her and put her on date! So we did and I made the call ahhhh! And by the end of the call, we got her to commit to January 27th for her baptism date!! Keep in mind we haven't even had a lesson with her but still so hype so we are gonna have to crank out the lessons and get her to come to church!! Gonna put in some hard work on Crystal!! So that's miracle #1 !

The second lil miracle that we were able to witness is about Samantha. Samantha is a single mom that's a member and her 2 kids one 13 and one 2, the mom has talked to us in the past about getting her son baptized so we went over Saturday and had a solid restoration lesson with this 13-year-old homie, Darren, and it all made sense to him!! So after that lesson, we extended the invite to be baptized on Feb 3rd!! And he was like sure I'm down! Im like lesss gooooo no shot we just put 2 people on date in 2 days! So many miracles that we were able to see the rest of that weekend too just being able to call members and get in there home right away! 
Samantha and her kids were also able too come to church the very next day!! They had a blast and we were able to sit with Darren in Sunday school! He was able to get taught about the come follow me lesson with week all about the introduction and the Witnesses so that was so hype for him to learn about that!! They said there definitely coming back to church so woot wootttt!! 

When Elder Peterson came down here he obviously has a companion that came down as well and they were playing basketball die hards ahhaha so we all woke up at 5:30 am to go play ball and lets say i still haven't recovered not gonna lie.

Anyways super fun week and glad to have it be over and start the grind all over again!! WOOO

This week went by so fast because it was filled with surprises and other highlights below. Tuesday Nov 8th Today was filled with service and moving apartments. We did service at a thrift store called Treasures. We sorted a bunch of wires and put them in a massive bin so untangling them took forever lol once we got done they said we could go shopping around and I found a sick sock tie and a sick old handheld FM radio.  After we got done with the service we found out we were moving to a different apartment! So that was exciting and a big surprise but also a small hassle because I finally got all my clothes and desk all organized, but now had to pack it all up. Our new place is an upgrade from our old apartment so that was a massive plus! It puts us 15 minutes closer to our Keno area, but just that much further from the Yonna Valley area. The one where is doesn't rain...because it snows!

Hi everyone this is Elder Fillmore emailing from OREGON! So crazy I'm here! Wednesday, November 2nd!  At 6:30AM we checked out of the MTC and headed to Provo Station to catch our train to the airport. Once there, my comp and just chilled while we waited for our flight to OR. We landed in Eugene, Oregon early afternoon and as expected it was pouring down rain and I was like oh boy haha here it all starts. We made our way to grab our luggage and walked out of the airport and boom the sun was out so that was a tender mercy!  We were met by the APs Elder Yeager and Elder Hepworth, super cool guys. We got loaded up and on our way. We traveled to the mission offices in Eugene and when we arrived, we were greeted by President and Sister Weekes. It was so awesome to meet them F2F for the first time and they are super cool people. The one where I'm in Eugene!

Hi ik I took a fat break with emails, but since the last one, I got transferred up to EUGENE with Elder Chevalier! Such a good teacher and has a way better sense of humor than my last comp lol so I'm so thankful for that!! We are a little north of Eugene, in Santa Clara kinda a suburb of Eugene and I am on a BIKE. One of two biking areas in the mish.  The teaching pool is seriously slacking up here so we are trying to change that as much as we can so far we are teaching 3 people but since I've been here we have only been able to meet with one of them once a week. So we are trying to start teaching those others too!  Yesterday, we had a member dinner and the house was maybe 20 minutes away on a bike. So we get going it was a light sprinkle when we start and the closer we got the harder and harder it rained lol.
