The one where we went car shopping

Hello!!

This past week we had our zone temple trip and it was awesome to be in the Medford Temple again having not been there for almost 8 months, since my days in Klamath Falls! We did a quick endowment session and then we went to in&out and a member saw all 16 elders and was like hey let me buy you guys in&out and u guys can get t-shirts too ( like the in&out t-shirt) so fricken nice and was totally not expecting the t-shirts so that was fun for all of us to have the same t-shirt!!

Wednesday we had our last day of harvest at the church Pear Farm. We were picking Asian pears, holy actually so yummy! After that, we went to in&out again lol gotta love in&out. Later that night we played volleyball with the YSA ward super sic!

On Thursday I was sickkk, II just had a head cold so i felt like crap in the morning so we have a lesson with an investigator over Zoom, this investigator is on date for Sep 28! The sisters in the Bear Creek area have been teaching him but he lives in our area so we had a lesson with them and they were able to hand him off to us to continue his learning of the gospel so super exciting stuff! We have a lesson with him on the 20th of September! After that lesson, we went to the farmer's markets in sketchy downtown Medford and it was just a bunch of food pop-ups so we tried to do some public finding and just talked to people!

On Friday we had a lesson with a less active who's trying to get over smoking cigarettes, she started the ARP meetings that the church puts on so we are hoping that helps her! She also doesn't come to church but we can tell she's trying to overcome this addiction so we just gotta support her!

Saturday we had a lesson with the Spanish elders, it wasn't in Spanish it was just a normal English meeting HAHA but the investigator that was born with cocaine in her system so her mom used and you can definitely tell that she was born with us just how she acted but we are trying to get her to overcome her own addiction with cocaine so that's gonna be fun to teacher and get her also to the arp meetings! Definitely, some rough stuff people go through is crazy!

Sunday was the most packed Sunday I've ever had on the mish. We had church at 9 obviously and after that, we had ward council right after then we had a quick bit for lunch then w. went to a member family that suddenly had their mom pass away this family has young four boys and the dad is only in his mid-thirties so sad, their mom passed away in a hiking accident in Arizona she was alone and they don't know what happened to her but it was 115° outside in Arizona and there was a whole bunch of people looking for her and they found her and she was just dead on the trail.
So it was super sad this happened around 2 months ago, so we wanted to give the family some time to have time alone and then we stopped by this Sunday and had an awesome discussion with them and I was able to share my experience with losing a loved one, and it was super tender and the dad was crying a lot and everything just warmed my heart and I told them as soon as I get moved into this Ward and I found out what happened to your family I knew I was in the right spot at the right time because God's timing is perfect!
After that we had we had dinner and it was super yummy they fed us smoked beef and green beans and corn and sweet potatoes with roasted marshmallows on top just like how my mom always makes them so that made me super happy haha and I actually don't hate green beans honestly like there def not yummy but ill survive if I eat them.

Later that evening we had an awesome lesson/get to know this guy who's been showing up to church for the past 2 weeks, his name is Allan! So we had a meeting with him at around 7:30 at the church and went really well we talked about the reasons why we have sacrament meeting and the importance of the sacrament, then we talked a little bit about the Plan of Salvation.  We were all three so tired so we didn't make a super long, but it was a very good discussion and he wants to learn more about our church. So he is one of our newest friends that we are consistently teaching starting next week!

So explaining my email title hehe before the lesson with Allan, we walked by the Mercedes-Benz dealership which is on the same street as our chapel. I got some pictures and I was able to drool over some of the new cars that they just barely got in! Just a little fun and always love a car show back home.

Definitely a fun and busy week and it went by so fast!

Met up with a member at the Farmers Market and he got us some yummy grilled cheese.

Lesson with the Spanish Elders and a kitten lol.

Drooling over the EQS, eye candy when we walk by the dealership on way to the church.

G Wagon anyone. lol
