The one where I get a new comp

Hi everyone! This past week was ok, I say okay because I had to say goodbye to two of the OEMs best, my trainer Elder Nelson and Elder Willoughby. The other Elder Nelson and I are staying in Klamath. We four are the OGs in Klamath and we clicked from the beginning. We all rocked at service, teaching, and all things wood chopping, loading, moving, and stacking.

My new comp and follow-up trainer is Elder Kjar, a good guy but not the same as Elder Nelson. He has been out for 15 months and I am his FIRST trainee, curious I know. He is also going to be our new district leader. But, woot woot I am now designated as the primary driver and phone contact for our area.

As the full week began, I knew we were going to have our differences and that's okay as I knew from day one and the hour-and-a-half car drive back to our area that he was going to be a tough cookie to crack lol. We spent some time talking about communication and trust. Grateful that this month's family meeting (OEM-wide zoom call) was all about comp unity.

My week progressed with a lot of sadness since it has been just 2 years since my sister Maddie's passing, which was only compounded by a change in companion. I've had to put a ton of trust in God. He has helped me feel loved, comforted, and have the power of forgiveness. Without this trust in God, I would have seriously struggled to get through this hard week!

Having my God and Jesus Christ this Christmas season has helped me so much with so many things. I love you guys and remember to stay strong in all that you do and find the problem before you go to the solution ;)
