The one where its is my last Thanksgiving

Holy cow guys so once again I been slacking on the whole email every week thing. I,m trying but hopefully i can get this one done haha but ill give a lil recap from now until Nov 20th which was my last email sent out.

So we can start with Thanksgiving woot woot! LAST Thanksgiving on the mish thats crazy to say but it's about time haha but it was actually pretty fun we first had a turkey bowl with the WHOLE Grants Pass Stake!! So that was sick and we played some 2 hand touch football and then played some spike ball with the Elders! After that we had a leaf raking service planned for a member so we went to do that. 
After we got ready for Thanksgiving dinner withere the Robinsons! We had a sick feast and there was a lot of people there so it reminded me of home! We stayed there until like 9:30pm and then I was like okay we gotta goooo.. So we called it a day and I would say it was a perfect Thanksgiving honestly.  

The following day Elder Peterson (AKA SUPERCHARGER) came for a couple of days and just hung out with us and trained my greenie goodddd haha. Elder Peterson and I grinded pretty hard and had some good laughs. 

Between now and then we were able to have some lessons with our investigators and we were able to have members there at the lessons!! This ward is the first ward where I've actually had a ward mish leader so we have been able to get members to come to our lessons. So thats been really cool! One of our investigators that is the on date for baptism in new year just needs to quit the VAPEEE and then she can get baptized! So we are meeting every Sunday and this upcoming sunday we gonna set some goals with her to quit her vapein! 

This also past week we have been able to get the members really well as we have been grinded on the member messages and it feels good getting to know them and then seeing them at church so u feel like u know someone haha. We also have been feed a lot for dinners here so thats been so sick, but some nights it like actually makes me sick bc of how much we eat in one sitting but oh well haha. We have been able to share the invitation to have the members text on of their friends thats not a part of our faith and just say a quick "H'reey thinking of you this time of year hope your doing well" its been awesome to follow up to see how they responded! We also have takin a picture at the dinner table and sending it to mom and dad so thats been fun hehe they better be keeping there numbers;)

30th NOV 
We had our temple trip down to the Medford Temple wit the whole zone that was fun and it wasn't a lot of driving bc Medford is only like 30 min from Grants Pass so that was nice. After the lit endowment session we went over to the church and we I was able to say hi to my last district i was in!!! Got to see Elder Anderson and Elder Checketts (my last comp) miss that zone high key! Can't wait to see em at zone conference gonna be so sick!! 

DEC 1 & 2 
Holy freak its December I cant believe that I remember when it was the peak of the summer in Eugene and I was saying to myself winter is never gonna come....... and boom here it is! The Stake put on a Nativity festival at the Stake Center for the whole community super cool to see all the Nativity sets that people brought to put on display. Us missionaries were able to be the security so I channeled my inner Jackie Chan and I was ready to slap any hand if they were going to touch any Nativitys HAHA super fun 2 days to be with the whole zone just talking to a lot of people that came that were not part of our faith!!

This week went by so fast because it was filled with surprises and other highlights below. Tuesday Nov 8th Today was filled with service and moving apartments. We did service at a thrift store called Treasures. We sorted a bunch of wires and put them in a massive bin so untangling them took forever lol once we got done they said we could go shopping around and I found a sick sock tie and a sick old handheld FM radio.  After we got done with the service we found out we were moving to a different apartment! So that was exciting and a big surprise but also a small hassle because I finally got all my clothes and desk all organized, but now had to pack it all up. Our new place is an upgrade from our old apartment so that was a massive plus! It puts us 15 minutes closer to our Keno area, but just that much further from the Yonna Valley area. The one where is doesn't rain...because it snows!

Hi everyone this is Elder Fillmore emailing from OREGON! So crazy I'm here! Wednesday, November 2nd!  At 6:30AM we checked out of the MTC and headed to Provo Station to catch our train to the airport. Once there, my comp and just chilled while we waited for our flight to OR. We landed in Eugene, Oregon early afternoon and as expected it was pouring down rain and I was like oh boy haha here it all starts. We made our way to grab our luggage and walked out of the airport and boom the sun was out so that was a tender mercy!  We were met by the APs Elder Yeager and Elder Hepworth, super cool guys. We got loaded up and on our way. We traveled to the mission offices in Eugene and when we arrived, we were greeted by President and Sister Weekes. It was so awesome to meet them F2F for the first time and they are super cool people. The one where I'm in Eugene!

Hi ik I took a fat break with emails, but since the last one, I got transferred up to EUGENE with Elder Chevalier! Such a good teacher and has a way better sense of humor than my last comp lol so I'm so thankful for that!! We are a little north of Eugene, in Santa Clara kinda a suburb of Eugene and I am on a BIKE. One of two biking areas in the mish.  The teaching pool is seriously slacking up here so we are trying to change that as much as we can so far we are teaching 3 people but since I've been here we have only been able to meet with one of them once a week. So we are trying to start teaching those others too!  Yesterday, we had a member dinner and the house was maybe 20 minutes away on a bike. So we get going it was a light sprinkle when we start and the closer we got the harder and harder it rained lol. So we finally get to the house just soaking like our pants on our thighs are just soaked and it was a cold rain so we were just freezing luckily they put a space heater ...
