The one where we wax on and wax off

Whattttzzz uppppp this week Elder Fillmore puts his waxing skills to use taught to him by his Dad and he also goes to the Portland temple for the Zone Temple trip!

So on the 15th of June, we go over to that service referrals house that I talked about in my last email their names are Jann and Tom Trumbly, we went over to their house to WAX their travel trailer! Having done this at home I was basically a professional hahah jk but it was really therapeutic and made me miss getting our trailer ready for the camping season at home It was great getting to help them there a little older so they couldn't do it very well. We are expecting to go over there sometime this upcoming weekend on the 24th or 25th just to chat with them and maybe talk bout the 2nd lesson with them!

June 20th We had our temple trip up to the Portland Oregon Temple! The double AP's took us up there and had a little fun on the way up HAHAH the temple was amazing as usual definitely my favorite temple I've been in, as I was in the Celestial Room I was thinking how much of a bummer it is that missionaries can't do baptisms for the dead, it made me look forward doing them when I get back home! 

After the Zone got done with our temple session we took some fun pictures! After we headed back and went shopping for food and went back to the church to chill bc we were all so tired lol the temple trip is exhausting. 
Later that night we tagged along at the "empty nester dinner" that the ward was having. We were able to help pass out the dessert and some people win the music Jeopardy they were playing hahaha

This week went by so fast because it was filled with surprises and other highlights below. Tuesday Nov 8th Today was filled with service and moving apartments. We did service at a thrift store called Treasures. We sorted a bunch of wires and put them in a massive bin so untangling them took forever lol once we got done they said we could go shopping around and I found a sick sock tie and a sick old handheld FM radio.  After we got done with the service we found out we were moving to a different apartment! So that was exciting and a big surprise but also a small hassle because I finally got all my clothes and desk all organized, but now had to pack it all up. Our new place is an upgrade from our old apartment so that was a massive plus! It puts us 15 minutes closer to our Keno area, but just that much further from the Yonna Valley area. The one where is doesn't rain...because it snows!

Hi everyone this is Elder Fillmore emailing from OREGON! So crazy I'm here! Wednesday, November 2nd!  At 6:30AM we checked out of the MTC and headed to Provo Station to catch our train to the airport. Once there, my comp and just chilled while we waited for our flight to OR. We landed in Eugene, Oregon early afternoon and as expected it was pouring down rain and I was like oh boy haha here it all starts. We made our way to grab our luggage and walked out of the airport and boom the sun was out so that was a tender mercy!  We were met by the APs Elder Yeager and Elder Hepworth, super cool guys. We got loaded up and on our way. We traveled to the mission offices in Eugene and when we arrived, we were greeted by President and Sister Weekes. It was so awesome to meet them F2F for the first time and they are super cool people. The one where I'm in Eugene!

Hi ik I took a fat break with emails, but since the last one, I got transferred up to EUGENE with Elder Chevalier! Such a good teacher and has a way better sense of humor than my last comp lol so I'm so thankful for that!! We are a little north of Eugene, in Santa Clara kinda a suburb of Eugene and I am on a BIKE. One of two biking areas in the mish.  The teaching pool is seriously slacking up here so we are trying to change that as much as we can so far we are teaching 3 people but since I've been here we have only been able to meet with one of them once a week. So we are trying to start teaching those others too!  Yesterday, we had a member dinner and the house was maybe 20 minutes away on a bike. So we get going it was a light sprinkle when we start and the closer we got the harder and harder it rained lol.
